Run Policies

1. Special Runs

• Last Minute Runs (start time < 24 hours) = $60 per hour

• Extended Hours Runs (6:00-8:00AM / 8:00-10:00PM) = $60 per hour

2. Run Changes

• Changes to runs with start time > 24 hours = No change fee incurred

• Changes to run with start time < 24 hours AND involves run time change of > 60 mins = $15 fee per change

• Changes made during run = $25 fee per change

 

3. Run Cancellations

• Parent cancellation of a run with start time > 24 hours = No cancellation fee incurred

• Parent cancellation of a run with start time < 24 hours = Full forfeit of estimated base charge

 

4. Linked Runs / Multi-Household Runs

• Maximum of 3 Cubs per Bear in a single run

• Run stops must be identical for all Cubs (i.e., no separate stops for some Cubs & not others)

• Primary parent submits & confirms run request and is responsible for total run payment on behalf of the group

• Each Cub family involved must set up a ShuttleCub account profile, not just the Primary parent

• Each Cub family involved will receive real-time notifications & updates during the run

• Because each additional child adds complexity, heightens vigilance, coordination and responsibility required, pricing for a Multi-Household Run is as follows:

  • 2 cubs: $60/hr (each parent pays 0.75 what they would have paid for a solo run)

  • 3 cubs: $80/hr (each parent pays 0.67what they would have paid for a solo run)

5. Promotions

• Promo codes cannot be combined or stacked—only one code may be applied per transaction

6. Payments

• Receipt Upload. Bears must upload receipts at most 6 hours post run, otherwise they forfeit their right to reimbursement

• Disputes. Parents/Bears have 3 days post-run to file a dispute, otherwise run is considered completed & closed

• Invoices. Final invoices are issued 6-24 hours post-run and sent to parents; Payment is required upon receipt of invoice

• Payments. Bears are paid on a weekly basis

 

7. Notification timing for “Unmatched Runs”

• For Last Minute Runs: parents will be notified 6 hours before run start time

• For Normal Runs: parents will be notified at 24 hours before run start time

 

8. Preferred Bears Run Acceptance Timing

• For Last Minute Runs: Preferred bears have 1 hour to accept run, after which run will be posted onto main Bear Dashboard

• For Normal Runs: Preferred bears have 4 hours to accept run, after which run will be posted onto main Bear Dashboard​​​​
