ShuttleCub provides trained, vetted adults — our Bears — who are part of our team and supported by us every step of the way. They’re warm, reliable, and child‑centered: the kind of people you’d trust to accompany your own kids.

 

ShuttleCub does not use private vehicles or drivers. Instead, our Bears are background‑checked, vetted, and trained to chaperone children ages 6+ safely by foot, subway, bus, taxi, or rideshare.

 

Most families use ShuttleCub for pickups, drop‑offs, and getting kids between school, home, and activities. But we know real life isn’t always point‑A‑to‑point‑B.

If you need help with transitions or short periods of care beyond transportation, feel free to reach out — we’re happy to explore what’s possible within our platform boundaries.

ShuttleCub currently focuses on serving families in Manhattan, where we’re building deep, hyper‑local trust and community. 

That said, we do accommodate select routes to and from the outer boroughs, depending on timing and Bear availability.
Submit your run request, and we’ll always do our best to support your family’s needs.

1. Create Your Family Account Profile

Tell us about your child, their routines, and any other important details.  This helps us match you with the right Bears and ensures every run is safe and smooth.

2. Submit a Run Request

Share where your child needs to go, when they need to be there, and any other notes we should know. You can request runs in advance or last‑minute - we’re flexible.

3. A Bear Is Assigned

We match your run request with a vetted, trained Bear who fits your child’s needs    and schedule. You approve your assigned Bear before confirmations are sent out.

4. Your Child Is Accompanied Safely

The Bear meets your child, escorts them to their destination, and keeps you updated along the way through a direct communication channel.  You follow the run through a web-based real-time GPS tracker.

5. You Receive Confirmation

You’ll receive a final message when your child arrives at the drop-off location safely. You can also choose to receive a photo of your child safely at each pickup/drop-off location.
